When you join, you are given your own personal membership code number, which identifies you as a Concerned Singles member. You use this number when making your first contact with another Concerned Single.

You do not have to be a member in order to enjoy reading our listings. Simply click Browse Current Membership.

However, you must be a member in order to contact other Concerned Singles members. We are a membership-only organization.

To make that first contact, here's what you do.

By Email

If a listing ends with the notation "(E-mail)" you can get in touch with that member by e-mail.

1. E-mail forwarding is just $1 each. Simply authorize us to charge a specific number of forwardings (minimum 10) to your credit card. Each time we forward an e-mail for you we deduct the cost from the amount you have authorized.
2. You can send us your credit card number and expiration date

3. When sending us e-mail to forward, please use the "Subject" line for the code number (including the state) of the person whom you are writing. Be sure to give us your code number as well. Here's an example:
        Subject: Forward to F-0000-MN from M-9999.
4. Send the e-mail to us at
        introductions@concernedsingles.com
   
   We redirect your e-mail to the e-mail address of the recipient(s) and forward your message(s) promptly.
   Note that your own e-mail address will remain in the "From" line of the e-mail when we send it out.
   
   

By Regular Mail

If a listing does not end with the notation that this person can receive e-mail responses, the first contact you make is by regular mail.

1. You write your letter, place it in an envelope, and seal and stamp the envelope.
2. You write the recipient's complete code number, including state and city, in the middle of the envelope, where you would normally write the name and address.
3. You give your name and as you choose, your address, email address, or phone number inside the letter so that the person can reply to you.
4. You enclose your sealed letter(s) along with $1 handling fee for each letter to be forwarded, in another envelope. In the upper left corner of this outer envelope, you write your name, postal address, and membership code, and mail it to:

We add the name and address of the recipient(s), and forward your letter(s) promptly.


After the initial contact, you will correspond directly by email, by phone, by fax, or by regular mail, depending on what information the person to whom you write provides. In your initial message, be sure to give the person a way of getting in touch with you.
